    Sowing for an Abundant Harvest

    Sowing for an Abundant Harvest
One basic principle underlies all riches in the world and in the kingdom of God: abundance comes from releasing the power of the seed. The power of the seed is unlimited. A tiny seed has power within itself to produce an innumerable supply of seed-bearing plants. One seed can produce a forest of trees without end throughout the ages. Our modern society emerged from one of subsistence when the few were able to feed the many by releasing the power of the seed. Jesus explained that even God's kingdom operates by releasing the power of the seed: “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field” (Matthew 13:24). This kingdom principle of sowing and reaping is God’s standard, and it cannot be altered. “While the earth remains seedtime and harvest . . . shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22). Good seed has to be sown in good soil to produce an abundant harvest. Abundance comes to those who sow generously and with joy. This post examines how to sow to produce an abundant harvest. It addresses the sower, the seed and the soil.
